Booking

  1. Direct booking

Payment

Premium package

No – neither a credit card nor a deposit is required.

Comfort package

  • Credit card: not required.
  • Deposit: €250 (can be waived with the Road assistance package: €5/day, min. €15).

Both packages include fully comprehensive SCDW insurance.

What does it cover?

  • If your flight is delayed and you cannot pick up the car (e.g. taxi and accommodation costs)
  • Fines or charges that were not your fault
  • Unjustified extra charges applied by the rental company
  • Fuel deposit/dispute

Yes, of course you can rent a car for as little as 1–2 days.

During peak season, however, it's worth booking in advance – this way you're more likely to get a good price and a car will definitely be available.

Based on our experience, it's best to book 1–3 months before your trip.

If you try to book too early (6–12 months ahead), the period is often not yet priced, so rates may be higher.

The specific car model is not guaranteed – but the category is. Unless it is specifically marked as guaranteed.

When booking, you always choose a car category (for example "Economy manual" or "Compact automatic"), not a specific make or model. The model shown on the rental company's website is just an example – the actual car can be any similar-sized vehicle within that category with comparable features.

This is standard practice in the car rental industry and applies to all our partners.

If your flight is delayed, Autos Menorca will wait for you.

What should you do?

  • It is especially important to notify them if your arrival falls outside opening hours.

If the delay means you cannot pick up the car

If due to the delay you are unable to pick up the car, our €1,000 guarantee covers the taxi fare to your accommodation, as well as the return trip to the rental office the next morning.

Autos Menorca

  • Minimum age 19 years, with at least 1 year of driving licence.
  • Drivers under 25 are subject to a young driver fee: €7/day, minimum €25 per rental.

Cancellation

  • Cancellation is free of charge up to 3 hours before arrival – the full amount paid will be refunded.
  • You can start the cancellation by clicking the "Cancelar Reserva" link in your confirmation email.
